just in case, some more people are worried:
We are all safe and sound, the Albany tornado did not affect us, but it is indeed really close to us.
My boss' wife went to the Albany shopping mall, but she is fine.
The Harbour Bridge was closed and the ferries did not run in the afternoon, but all back to normal now.
Compared to America it was a small tornado (grade 2), but tornadoes are pretty uncommon for New Zealand.
